MINISTRIES OVERVIEW

The BSG Project/ Ministry

The BSG Project (Bible Study Guide) is a program designed to guide people to Jesus by looking at each chapter of the Bible. Every day, here at the Gospel’s Voice, we have a specific chapter designed to guide readers in an in-depth study. Our motto is “Proclaiming God’s Word, One chapter at a Time.” This is an ongoing program, meaning “a work in progress.” The goal is to prepare enough Bible Study Guides in all chapters of the Bible (that is 1,189). It is not a simple task. We need to hire about six to seven staff with theological backgrounds (writers, editors, translators, etc.) to complete the project sooner. We need your support to help pay for this portion of the ministry and to translate these lessons into Kiswahili (a native language in East Africa) and many other languages (in the future) so that many souls will hear God’s voice in their language and make decisions for Christ. Note that each chapter of the Bible has 25 segments, such as a Worship guide, Prayer guide, Question and Answers, Discussion questions, Evening devotion, etc. (To mention a few).

Publishing Ministry

We believe that readers are less likely to get distracted reading a printed book than on the internet. Print books (bible study lessons; pamphlets; leaflets, tracts, handouts, etc.) work anywhere, anytime. You don’t have to worry about batteries, chargers, or internet connections when you have a book. Thirdly, we desire families to have these materials in their homes—to be used as reference points during their daily devotions. Your support will help us acquire professional printers, design software for graphic design, cutting equipment, and a binding machine.

Evangelism Training

Christ once said, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Luke 10:2, NKJV) God desires that all should be saved. He is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9). Christ is coming soon, but many are not ready. There is a great harvest of precious souls to be reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make decisions for Christ. Again, our Lord emphasized that the laborers are few, very few. The TGV Evangelism Program will prepare and equip “laborers” (evangelists) for soul-winning work. Your support will help us build the Evangelism Center, Dormitory, Accommodation, Teaching Materials, and Outreach/ Witnessing resources.

Evangelism

Our broken world is being hammered by pandemics, poverty, hatred, and wars. Your gifts will lead desperate and searching hearts to trustworthy, real, and hope-filled answers about the future.

Evangelism Ministry

(Train students to share their faith more boldly). Professional training in witnessing is hard to find, but through your gifts, you support a world-class team of teachers—including Pastor Doug Batchelor—in equipping students worldwide to effectively share Christ and become powerful Bible workers, evangelists, pastors, and missionaries. Your partnership also provides scholarships to train hundreds each year to reach their communities.

Internet Ministry

Most people use the internet to find spiritual information. The single largest method people use to find spiritual information is the Internet. How much is misleading them about God? The facet of the TGV Ministries is sending terabytes of truth through cyberspace. More than five active websites travel down a superhighway to computers around the world, featuring life-transforming truths and vital spiritual resources. Your gifts will help give millions instant online access to Christ-centered lessons.

Humanitarian Projects/ Ministry

Health Ministry

The global health community has made significant progress in reducing the number of deaths from infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, but still work to be done. About 1 billion people, mostly impoverished in tropical climates, suffer from Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). These diseases are spread by insects or contaminated water or soil and can cause severe disability, blindness, and other impairments. Malaria, for example, (which is a treatable and preventable disease) kills many people still.

Millions of people in Tanzania still lack access to proper health care. Infectious diseases like HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria continue to impact communities nationwide. Through our commitment to serving the mind, body, and spirit, The TGV Health ministry aims to advance the well-being of the villagers. When confronting suffering and disease, we breathe hope into devastated populations drawing them closer to Jesus.

Prison Ministry

Prison Ministry

Men and women behind bars, victims of crime, families torn apart by incarceration—all are loved by God, created in His image (Gen 1:26), and worthy of our attention. We are committed to ensuring that all affected by crime are reconciled to God, their families, and their communities.

TGV believes that a restorative approach to prisoners, former prisoners, and all those affected by crime and incarceration can make communities safer and healthier. This faucet of our ministry was founded (in 2017) on the conviction that all people are created in God's image and that no life is beyond God's reach.

As Christians, we believe that Jesus — Himself brought to trial, executed, buried, and brought to life again — offers hope, healing, and a new purpose for each life. He can make even the most broken people and situations whole again. Through an amazing awakening to new hope and life purpose, those who once broke the law are transformed and mobilized to serve their neighbors, replacing the cycle of crime with a cycle of renewal.

We believe that God deeply cares for prisoners and desires that we remember them. “I was in prison, and you came to visit me ... I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." (Matthew 25:36, 40) God seeks to set prisoners free—not always from their physical prison, but certainly from their imprisonment by sin, ignorance, rebellion, and foolish choices. Jesus identified Himself as the source of this freedom. As this is an important part of God's work, it is also an essential part of the TGV ministry.

“He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The Lord frees the prisoners. The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly. The Lord protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.” (Psalm 146:7–9, NLT)

If Jesus were on earth today, would we find Him in the prisons, talking and dining with criminals and outcasts? Of course, we would. He would be there "to seek and to save the lost!" (Luke 19:10).

The Gospel’s Voice, in partnership with Elder Eliot Kisagwa, Wilfred Sairo, and Greshon Mussa, has been involved with attending to both the physical and spiritual needs of inmates in various prison cells in Tanzania. Together, we have provided food, clothing, water, and Bibles. We hope you will be encouraged to follow Jesus into the prisons by assisting us in ministering to prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families.

Christian Education/ Orphanage Ministry

Orphanage Ministry

The TGV Orphan program focuses on housing, food, medical care, quality education, and recreational activities. Caring for orphans starts with a safe, loving home. The TGV Orphan program’s mission is to give children a hopeful future. That begins with a good, safe environment (a roof over their heads, a warm bed, food, and safe drinking water). We need your support to help us build a dormitory (boys and girls), clinic, water wells, and indoor restrooms.

We are also committed to providing our orphans with quality medical care. We give hundreds of children essential yet vital medicines and preventative care and refer severe medical cases to the Musoma Regional Hospital (far from the Buturi village).

Further, we are committed to giving our orphans a quality education. We will provide hundreds of children a chance to receive a quality education by having an onsite school. Your donations will help us pay for these things. We will also buy the equipment/ materials they need daily, such as blankets, mosquito nets, books, backpacks, school uniforms, desks, beds, computers, and other materials.
