4-BSG-12A: WORSHIP GUIDE
Numbers 12: Worship Guide/ 4-BSG-12A (Numbers 12)/ Today’s Focus: Humility before God, respect for His chosen servants, and the power of His mercy to restore.
Call to Worship
“Come, let us honor the Lord who is holy, who speaks clearly to His servants, and who defends the humble. Let us worship Him with reverence and humility of heart.”
Adoration & Praise
Praise God as the Righteous Judge who knows the motives of every heart.
Praise Him as the Defender of His servants, who stood for Moses when he was wrongly criticized.
Adore Him as the God of Mercy who heals and restores.
Confession
Lord, forgive us for times when we have spoken against others or dishonored Your appointed servants.
Forgive our pride, jealousy, and critical spirits.
Cleanse us from self-righteousness and teach us humility.
Thanksgiving
Thank God for His Word, which shows us the danger of pride and the blessing of humility.
Thank Him for His patience, even when we fail.
Thank Him for leaders who serve faithfully under His hand.
Thank Him for His mercy that heals and restores, as seen in Miriam’s healing.
Intercession & Supplication
Pray for humility in our lives, families, and churches.
Pray for protection over God’s leaders from unjust criticism.
Pray for God’s mercy on those who are spiritually or physically afflicted.
Ask God to help us build unity instead of division.
Scripture Meditation
Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth… So, Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, “Please heal her, O God, I pray!” (Numbers 12:3, 13, NKJV)
Today’s Commitment
By God’s grace, I commit to—
Guard my words from criticizing or slandering others.
Walk in humility, knowing God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
Pray for leaders instead of opposing them.
Seek reconciliation and unity where there has been division.
Trust in God’s mercy for healing and restoration in my life.
Benediction
May the Lord clothe you with humility, guard your tongue from pride and strife, and fill you with His mercy and peace. May His healing presence restore you and His Spirit lead you in unity with His people, now and forever. Amen.
