4-BSG-13A: WORSHIP GUIDE
Numbers 13: Worship Guide/ 4-BSG-13A/ Today’s Focus: Trusting God’s Promise Above Human Fear

Key Text— “Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” (Numbers 13:30, NKJV)

Leader: “Do not rebel against the LORD, and do not be afraid of the people of the land… the LORD is with us.” (Num. 14:9)
People: We rise to worship the God who is greater than every giant, stronger than every wall, and faithful in every promise.

Together: Come, let us worship the God who calls us to faith, courage, and obedience!

Opening Hymn— “Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus”

Adoration & Praise
Praise God as the Promise-Keeper who leads His people to inherit His blessings.
Adore Him for His power that is greater than every “giant” we face.
Honor Him as the Faithful God who never fails His word.

Confession
Confess times when we, like Israel, have doubted God’s promises and focused on the giants instead of His power.
Acknowledge fear, unbelief, and murmuring hearts.
Pray: “Lord, forgive my unbelief; help me to trust You completely.”

Thanksgiving
Thank God for His promises that never fail (2 Cor. 1:20).
Thank Him for leaders of faith like Caleb and Joshua who inspire courage.
Thank Him for the “land of promise” He has prepared for His people — both on earth and in eternity.

Intercession & Supplication
Pray for faith like Caleb and Joshua, to see God’s greatness above obstacles.
Pray for the Church to be bold in mission, not shrinking back in fear.
Pray for individuals battling fear, doubt, or discouragement, that they may be strengthened in faith.
Ask God for victory over the “giants” in personal life — sin, fear, temptation, opposition.

Today’s Commitment— By God’s grace:
I will choose faith over fear, trust over doubt, and obedience over disobedience.”
Commit to fix your eyes on God’s promises, not life’s challenges.

Benediction
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20–21, NKJV)
