The sin of grumbling and complaining against God’s chosen leaders (Num. 16:41).
The sin of disregarding God’s holiness.
The sin of resisting divine order and discipline.

Something to Thank God For:
Thank God for leaders like Moses and Aaron, who interceded even for rebellious people.
Thank God for His holiness, which guards His people.
Thank God for Christ, our High Priest, who stands between the living and the dead (Heb. 7:25).

People to Pray For:
Pray for spiritual leaders—pastors, elders, teachers—to walk in humility and faithfulness.
Pray for believers who struggle with pride or rebellion, that they may repent.
Pray for the church to stand united in Christ.
Pray for those who intercede faithfully, that God may strengthen them.

Issues to Pray For:
For peace, unity, and submission to God’s order in the church.
For protection against division and false leadership.
For courage to stand firm for holiness and truth.
For mercy on communities and nations that resist God’s authority.
For revival—hearts humbled before God’s Word.

I commit to walking in humility and rejecting pride.
I commit to supporting and praying for God’s appointed leaders.
I commit to intercede for others, even for those who resist.
I commit to live in reverence for God’s holiness.

Today’s Promise: “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chron. 7:14)

MORNING PRAYER (Based on Numbers 16):

Heavenly Father, we come before You this morning with humble hearts, asking for wisdom and understanding as we study Numbers 16. Lord, protect us from the spirit of rebellion that rose in Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Give us hearts of humility that honor Your authority and respect those You have placed in leadership.

Father, forgive us for times when we have grumbled, complained, or resisted Your will. Cleanse us from pride and arrogance, and clothe us with the spirit of obedience.

We thank You for leaders who, like Moses and Aaron, intercede for Your people. We thank You above all for Christ, our great High Priest, who stands between judgment and mercy, offering salvation to all who believe.

This morning, we pray for unity in our churches, humility in our hearts, and revival in our communities. Teach us to live reverently in Your holiness and to intercede faithfully for others. May we walk today in obedience, guided by Your Spirit, and upheld by Your grace.

We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
