The goal of The Gospel’s Voice Ministries (TGV), among other things, is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ while focusing on the relief of the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged.
Here is a summary of What We Do (or plan to do) by God’s grace.
We have developed a segment called “Ten Minutes with Jesus!” That is Ten Minutes of your Time with Jesus every Morning! Why morning? Mornings symbolize freshness, new beginnings, and hope. Just as each new morning brings a newness of day and fresh light driving out the darkness of night, we can refresh our souls in God’s word. The Bible says, “Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22–23, NKJV). May the LORD bless you as you tune in and join us every morning to read, listen, and meditate on His word. Amen.
Just as physical exercise increases our strength and endurance and promotes overall health, so does spiritual exercise. The TGV sends out devotional articles such as Daily Bible Reading Plan, Worship/ Prayer Guides, and Evening Devotions daily. We believe these segments will enhance our devotional life. The daily time spent with God will keep our souls strong and rooted in His promises. See “This Day on TGV” and download “The Gospel’s Voice” Mobile App for daily lessons.
Developing Bible Study Guides (BSG) has been the passion of the ministry Founder (David Partson). From its inception, the TGV ministry has been known for the “Worship Guide.” That’s just the first segment (of the 25 in each Bible chapter) released daily on our Devotional Website. We believe the best way to study God’s Word is through a step-by-step analysis of God’s Word. A whole range of topics (topical studies), themes, etc., are also underway.
The Bible has a total of one thousand one hundred eighty-nine chapters (1,189) in addition to other topics, themes, doctrines, etc. We intend to have an in-house Press (print media) unit which will process Bible Study Guides (BSG) materials at a reduced price. Our goal is not a financial profit (hence not-for-profit organization) but to provide informative Bible-based, Christ-centered materials that will benefit every Bible student. Much of what we offer will be very useful for spiritual studies, medical-missionary work, general evangelistic outreach, personal health, and spiritual needs. Our capability to print out new materials or to reprint the older ones will depend on the generosity of people like you who are willing to help us produce and distribute quality tools for sincere seekers of the Word of God. We look forward to unfolding more information about this facet of our ministry in the future.
We conduct Evangelistic Meetings/ Seminars. In 2017, our first Evangelistic Meeting was held in Bunda district, a three-week program (conducted by Pastor Elly Mshitu). We supported those on the ground and provided Bibles, food, water, and other basic resources while the meeting was in progress. At the end of this meeting, 300 souls were saved and given their lives to Christ. From time to time, we have worked with Pastor Mussa Mubwilo, a local district Pastor, where the TGV campus is located. Moreover, we have helped sponsor a number of Evangelistic meetings, health seminars, and community-based humanitarian aid.
Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Luke 10:2, NIV) In order to send “workers” to the field, they have to be trained (be acquainted with what they will share in the field). We believe that Jesus is coming soon, but many are still ignorant of that fact or are in darkness. “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9, NIV) The time is fast approaching when the door of mercy will close (Revelation 22:11). We believe that now is the time to do this work. These trained “lay evangelists” will help spread the gospel of Jesus in the country and around the World. Training will be done onsite at the main Ministry Block. More details on this program will be provided in the near future.
This will be a Christian Television & Radio (24/7). We desire to use every available means to reach as many individuals and families as possible with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. TGV Broadcasting Network will offer a wide variety of Christ-centered Bible studies 24 hours a day. A special program just for Kids, “Kids Corner,” will address everything from child development to parenting. This program will also focus on important family (Christian) values, character development (building), and life skills. TGV Biblical programs will address topics ranging from Bible Studies to Bible prophecy seminars. Weekly church services will air live to meet the needs of those unable to attend their local churches.
We believe that a healthy mind promotes a healthy spiritual life. Along with caring for patients (outpatients), TGV Broadcasting Network will have special programs designed to bring the viewers important information on medical and lifestyle issues such as cancer prevention, diabetes, heart disease, and malaria. Other programs will deal with issues such as drug and alcohol recovery. Vegetarian cooking programs feature recipes showing viewers how to cook with less added fat, salt, and sugar.
The Main Block (ground floor) is dedicated to healthcare. There will be an onsite clinic/ dispensary with a physician both for on-campus children and the community at large. The goal of our Health Ministry is to improve the health and well-being of the community around us through the reduction of communicable diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and other neglected tropical diseases and by controlling outbreaks of diseases like cholera. A stop-smoking clinic will be on-site, running continually for those wishing to break their nicotine addiction.
Dr. Lukas Ogutu, has been very instrumental in running our Health Ministry/ Clinic and also focuses on teaching preventative measures. Dr. Ogutu is also in charge of our NEWSTART program—a physician-monitored, scientifically researched lifestyle change program based on eight fundamental principles proven to help people achieve optimum health. These fundamental principles are signified by the acronym NEWSTART. This acronym for optimum health is Nutrition, Exercise, Water (Clean Water), Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust in God.
Men and women behind bars, victims of crime, families torn apart by incarceration—all are loved by God, created in His image (Gen 1:26), and worthy of our attention. We are committed to ensuring that all affected by crime are reconciled to God, their families, and their communities.
Education for Vulnerable Children. We are building the TGV Academy onsite. Also, see the TGV Orphanage Program. The TGV Orphanage program aims to give orphans hope and a future. We believe that we are called to serve the needy (especially orphans and vulnerable kids among us). We are determined to let each orphan know that Jesus deeply loves and cares for them. TGV strives to demonstrate Christ’s love for orphans by giving them a chance to a better, hopeful tomorrow by investing in early childhood education, catering to their basic needs, and ensuring a safe environment (housing). We work to provide quality nutrition, clean places to live, and adequate medical care for orphans. Equip orphans with education and life skills. Raise a generation of orphans prepared to be significant contributors to their society.
Apart from the gospel’s proclamation (our primary goal), we also focus on the relief of the poor, the distressed, or the underprivileged. We do this by addressing life’s basic needs (food, clothing, shelter, clean water (sanitation), and access to treatment). The beneficiary of this program currently will be the community where the TGV Campus is located in Africa, but it could extend to other territories in the future as God permits.
Received donations (such as appliances, books, clothing, bedding, furniture, etc.) will be stored in a secured unit. We will collect these items and ship them to Africa, where The Gospel’s Voice Ministries (Tanzania Branch) is located. Donated items will then be distributed to the villages (or those in need) as per policy and procedure established by the TGV Humanitarian Ministry in partnership with the Village Leadership Council.
